  • •Obtain details of the incident.
  • •Identify the dog involved.
  • •Determine severity of the bite/scratch.
  • •Check vaccination status of the dog, especially rabies.

Document The Incident

  • •Complete Dog-to-Human Bite/Scratch Incident Report.
  • •Include all required information.
  • •Take photos if appropriate (with permission).

Notify Required Parties

  • •Notify management immediately.
  • •Notify the dog's owner.
